You may have seen the announcement that SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic (SSC LANT) will be conducting a pillar IDIQ feedback session as part of the SBIOI. SSC LANT is soliciting input on the pillar contract acquisition strategy and suggested improvements for the follow-on effort. In particular SSC LANT is seeking feedback in the areas of: contract threshold requirements; contract references; if the RFP Section L and Section M are understandable and viable; how the number of awardees affects your decision to answer task order RFPs; the Software Development Plan; pricing subcontractors. Please direct any thoughts on these areas, or other improvement ideas pertaining to the overarching pillar IDIQ strategy, to the functional mailbox: ssclant_pillar_fb.fcm@navy.mil The intent is to include on the SBIOI agenda a presentation on the pillar acquisition strategy from inception to present as well as a summary and discussion of feedback received from this RFI. As time permits, representatives from SSC LANT will answer/discuss questions or issues that arise as a result of the SBIOI presentations.
