Ms. Sabrina Lemire currently serves as the Command Information Officer (CIO) for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SSC) Atlantic where she manages the portfolio of SSC Atlantic's internal corporate Information Technology (IT) capabilities in alignment with mission and business enterprise priorities including requirements, processes, tooling and data across the Command. She provides strategies on the Command’s usage of various networks to include cybersecurity guidance, information assurance standards and modernization, as well as strategic technical leadership to streamline all internal operations, processes and enabling IT. Ms. Lemire was selected for this position in July of 2018.
Ms. Lemire’s prior role was to serve as the Command Process and Requirements Lead to drive process efficiencies and a refined IT governance for SSC Atlantic, and has represented SSC Atlantic on multiple SPAWAR HQ working groups addressing strategic way forward on IT investment. She previously supported the Program Executive Office Defense Healthcare Management System (PEO DHMS) as the Process and Tool Lead where she developed, coordinated, and managed enterprise processes and associated tooling strategy to support multiple program offices and an interagency program office. Additionally, Sabrina has provided process and tooling expertise during her twelve years of civilian service to the DoD's new Electronic Health Record System (MHS Genesis), VA Veterans Benefit Management System (VBMS), VA Chapter 33, and the DoD Mine-Resistant Protected (MRAP) Vehicle Integration.
Ms. Lemire received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. She has received numerous technical certifications including DAWIA Level II Engineering, ITIL Foundations, TIPA Assessment, LSS Black Belt, and Agile PMI ACP. Sabrina has also received several awards throughout her career acknowledging her outstanding engineering and leadership within the SPAWAR command.
