The CDCA brings diverse professionals together and offers you the opportunity to develop camaraderie within the community, meet your peers, and foster business relationships with our members. The CDCA fosters increased communications between the defense community to develop better teaming opportunities, to jointly develop solutions, and to improve service offerings. Attending CDCA events such as our SBIOIs and Annual Eastern Defense Summit is great for information sharing and learning about technology requirements and future procurement opportunities.  You will also hear directly from government customers on the current environment and future challenges.  These events can take on a range of shapes and sizes, with attendees from all industries and backgrounds.

The CDCA serves as an advocate for broad issues. The CDCA provides input on issues and initiatives to the broader community in such areas as education, small business mentoring, and Congressional liaison. The CDCA is a trusted associate of the Charleston Metro Area Chamber of Commerce and many other organizations. CDCA speaks with one, trusted voice for the defense community. As a CDCA member, you have a greater voice in the issues and initiatives that are important to you, your employees, and your customers.

The CDCA website, events, social media, and other marketing channels can highlight your business and increase the visibility of your product or service. Become Involved

CDCA members have knowledge of and interest in the defense community and an interest and concern for the development, advancement, and recognition of our defense organizations, and the local defense community.
